About

Gaetano studied in Cosenza / Italy and at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto and danced for almost 20 years as a soloist and first soloist with he San Francisco Ballet, English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Lucerne Ballet, Peter Schaufuss Ballet and the Hessian State Ballet. Early on his talent for choreography was discovered. Since 1995 he has created a large number of choreographic works for ballet companies in Europe, the USA and South America, for his own Posterino Dance Company as well as for opera and film productions. Today he works as a director, choreographer and teacher from Munich.
For his contemporary modern workshops, Gaetano uses a fluid, contemporary movement vocabulary and his Posterino Technique in the sense of a fundamental developmental structure for the choreographic work with the participants. His great passion for dance is palpable and tangible; he brings all his inexhaustible creativity, his comprehensive creativity and his extensive wealth of experience.
