DESCRIPTION:ein Dokumentarfilm von Agnija Galdanowa \nGena\, queere Künstler*in aus einer kleinen Stadt in Russland\, kleidet sich in jenseitige Kostüme aus Schrott und Klebeband und protestiert auf den Straßen Moskaus gegen die Regierung. Geboren und aufgewachsen in den rauen Straßen von Magadan\, einem eisigen Außenposten des sowjetischen Gulag\, ist Gena erst 21 Jahre alt. Gena inszeniert radikale Performances in der Öffentlichkeit\, die zu einer neuen Form von Kunst und Aktivismus werden. Damit will Gena die Wahrnehmung der Menschen von Schönheit und Queerheit verändern und auf die Belästigung der LGBTQ+-Gemeinschaft aufmerksam machen.
