Die \u00f6ffentliche Wahrnehmung rangiert zwischen \u201eDanke f\u00fcr euren <strong>Dauereinsatz<\/strong>&#8221; und \u201eDie waren nie in Paris&#8221;. <strong>Flashmobs<\/strong> am Rathaus, auf der Krachparade, <strong>Diskurse<\/strong> in den Kammerspielen, Halloween im Motorama, <strong>Interviews <\/strong>im Radio \u2013 das sind unsere lauten Momente. <strong>Gespr\u00e4che<\/strong> mit <strong>Fraktionen<\/strong>, mit der <strong>Verwaltung<\/strong> (neuerdings auch mit der <strong>Stadtspitze<\/strong>) geh\u00f6ren zu den leisen, aber wirkm\u00e4chtigen Feldern unserer Arbeit. Davor, danach, dazwischen: <strong>Arbeitskreise<\/strong>, <strong>Klausurtage<\/strong>, <strong>Zoom-Meetings<\/strong>. <strong>Vereinsgr\u00fcndungsphase<\/strong>, Statuten. <strong>Unz\u00e4hlige Stunden ehrenamtlicher Arbeit<\/strong>. Oft ist man fertig, <strong>fertig wird man nie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Manche Menschen k\u00fcmmert unsere Arbeit nicht, weil sie sich nicht f\u00fcr Kultur interessieren. Weil sie glauben, keine Verbindung zu ihr zu haben. Doch <strong>Kultur durchdringt und bestimmt unser Leben jeden Tag<\/strong>, ob wir nun wollen oder nicht. <strong>Das gleiche gilt f\u00fcr Politik<\/strong>. B<strong>ei beidem k\u00f6nnen wir mitbestimmen oder anderen das Feld \u00fcberlassen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Am achten M\u00e4rz sind Wahlen. M\u00fcnchen ist Kultur!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>xxxxx<\/p>\n<p>Dear audience,<\/p>\n<p>What is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.muenchenistkultur.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>#M\u00fcnchenIstKultur<\/strong><\/a> actually doing? Public perception ranges from \u2018Thank you for your <strong>tireless efforts<\/strong>\u2019 to \u2018They&#8217;ve never been to Paris\u2019.<strong> Flash mobs<\/strong> at the City Hall, at the Krachparade, <strong>discussions <\/strong>at the Kammerspiele theatre, Halloween at Motorama, radio <strong>interviews <\/strong>\u2013 these are our loud moments. <strong>Discussions <\/strong>with <strong>political parties<\/strong>, with the <strong>administration<\/strong> (and recently also with <strong>city leaders<\/strong>) are among the quiet but powerful areas of our work. Before, after, in between: <strong>working groups<\/strong>, <strong>strategy retreats<\/strong>, <strong>Zoom meetings<\/strong>. The <strong>association&#8217;s founding phase<\/strong>, <strong>statutes<\/strong>. <strong>Countless hours of unpaid work<\/strong>. Often you&#8217;re tired, but you&#8217;re never done.<\/p>\n<p>Some people don&#8217;t care about our work because they&#8217;re not interested in culture. Because they believe they have no connection to it. But <strong>culture permeates and determines our lives every day<\/strong>, whether we like it or not. <strong>The same applies to politics<\/strong>. <strong>In both cases, we can have a say or leave the field to others.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Elections are on 8 March.
