Liebes Publikum der Freien Szene München,
das Rationaltheater ist ein Dokumentartheater in dem ausschließlich Uraufführungen produziert werden. Es gibt kein eigenes Ensemble, sondern wir arbeiten wie eine Art Thinktank, suchen zuerst nach gesellschaftsrelevanten Themen und beauftragen dann Autor:innen, die Regie und die Darsteller:innen. Doch immer dann, wenn bei komplexen Veranstaltungsreihen unser Team und die finanziellen Möglichkeiten nicht ausreichen, nehmen wir auch bereits gespielte Produktionen mit in unser Programm auf.
Eines dieser außergewöhnlichen Formate ist LOST CHILDREN, zu dem wir Euch herzlich einladen. Bis zum Ende des Jahres beschäftigen wir uns in dieser Reihe mit Kriegstraumata, Flucht und Versklavung von Minderjährigen. Neben der ganzjährigen Foto-Ausstellung finden dazu Lesungen, Theater- und Filmvorführungen statt.
Im Rahmen dessen möchten wir besonders auf das Theaterstück „Barfuss Nackt Herz in der Hand“ (19.05.-20.05.2023) von Ali Jalaly hinweisen, das als Antwort auf den Brandanschlag in Solingen, den Jugendliche vor genau 30 Jahren auf das von einer türkischen Familie bewohnte Haus verübten, entstanden ist. Das Stück besteht aus einem emotionalen Monolog, der die deutsche Gesellschaft und die Probleme einer multikulturellen Gesellschaft auf ergreifende Weise spiegelt. Dear audience of the Munich independent scene,
Rationaltheater is a documentary theatre that exclusively produces world premieres. There is no ensemble of our own, but we work like a kind of think tank, first looking for socially relevant topics and then commissioning authors, directors and actors. But whenever our team and the financial possibilities are not sufficient for complex series of events, we also include productions that have already been performed in our programme.
One of these unusual formats is LOST CHILDREN, to which we cordially invite you. Until the end of the year, this series will deal with war trauma, fleeing and enslavement of minors. In addition to the year-round photo exhibition, there will be readings, theatre and film screenings.
As part of this, we would like to draw special attention to the play „Barefoot Naked Heart in Hand“ (19.05.-20.05.2023) by Ali Jalaly, which was created as a response to the arson attack in Solingen, Germany, by youths exactly 30 years ago on the house occupied by a Turkish family. The play consists of an emotional monologue that poignantly reflects German society and the problems of a multicultural society. Tickets are available at ticket@rationaltheater.de.
